University of Zagreb Academy of Music expresses strong support to Ukraine and Ukrainians, both students as well as employees of the entire Ukrainian education system. It is ready to actively provide all assistance within its competencies and capabilities (in accordance with decisions of the University of Zagreb and relevant Croatian authorities).
Academy of Music provides and will continue to provide support to all Ukrainian students who were forced to leave their homeland due to the war through admissions and/or continuation of their studies (in accordance with the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia on the Introduction of temporary protection for displaced persons from Ukraine in the Republic of Croatia from March 7th 2022 and the Decision of the University of Zagreb Academy of Music Council from March 9th 2022).
Following the instructions of the Ministry of Science and Education and the University of Zagreb, the Academy of Music will provide Ukrainian students with:
– right of enrolment in study programs conducted in the Croatian language as part of the Integrated University Undergraduate and Graduate studies – up to 30 students;
– assistance and information about the possibilities of organized accommodation and meals;
– support of fellow students through the Academy of Music Student Union.
We invite Ukrainian students to send information about themselves (full name, name of home institution, field of study, year of study) as their earliest convenience to the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org in order to facilitate a fast integration into the education system and current academic year.
Free Croatian language course for Ukrainian students with temporary protection of the Republic of Croatia who are currently studying at the University of Zagreb is held at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Croaticum Language Centre (contact e-mail address: email@example.com).
