Application deadline for enrollment into all\u00a0<\/strong>University of Zagreb <\/strong>Academy of Music study programs dor academic year 2026\/2027 is June 15th<\/sup> 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

PREREQUISITES<\/strong><\/p>\n

All candidates are required to:<\/p>\n

1. fill out the registration\/register for Additional knowledge, skills and abilities assessment exam<\/strong><\/em> via national portal www.postani-student.hr<\/a>;<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 fill out the Academy of Music entrance exam regestration form https:\/\/forms.gle\/4ZAuUzJMYnMMVTMe7 <\/a>\u00a0until June 15th 2026 deadline<\/p>\n

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities assessment exam<\/strong><\/em> will be held in the summer term from June 29th<\/sup> to July 02nd<\/sup> 2026 in accordance with the schedule published on June 26th<\/sup> 2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Candidates who do not complete both steps of the application procedure by the specified deadline cannot take part in the assessment\/enterance exam (Additional knowledge, skills and abilities assessment exam<\/em>)<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

General information on admissions to integrated bachelors and masters programmes<\/b> – 1st year of study:
\nTESTING OF SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES \u2013 differs from department to department* – includes the following:<\/p>\n

Musicology<\/b><\/td>\nmusic history, European history and civilization, foreign language, harmony, counterpoint, theory, solf\u00e8ge, piano (for the double-major programme, candidates must also pass the admissions examination for the second major at the Faculty of the Humanities and Social Sciences)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Conducting<\/b><\/td>\nconducting, harmony, counterpoint, theory, solf\u00e8ge, relevant literature, piano, performance of scores and piano derivations<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Voice<\/b><\/td>\nvoice, solf\u00e8ge, theory, piano<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Music Pedagogy<\/b><\/td>\npiece of writing, harmony, theory, solf\u00e8ge, piano (for the double-major programme, candidates must also pass the admissions examination for the second major at the Faculty of the Humanities and Social Sciences)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

The maximum amount of points in the admissions procedure is 1000.
\nThe admissions examination can account for a maximum of 900 points, with the minimum threshold for admissions being 550 points.
\nHigh-school achievement can account for a maximum of 100 points. Candidates without high-school education can be admitted to the study programme in exceptional circumstances.<\/p>\n

\n

APPLICATION PROCEDURE – FIRST YEAR OF STUDIES
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Registration in the www.postani-student.hr<\/a> system as a Candidate who completed secondary education outside the Republic of Croatia (Zavr\u0161io sam srednje obrazovanje izvan RH i \u017eelim se registrirati<\/em>) is MANDATORY<\/span>.<\/strong> In case of problems with logging into the system, you should contact the Central Application Office (Sredi\u0161nji prijavni ured) at 00385 1 62 74 844 or e-address spu@azvo.hr<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

– in addition to registering in the system, it is necessary to send the necessary documentation to the Agency for Science and Higher Education (see www.studij.hr<\/a> – All about applications – I graduated high school abroad. – Documents – Documentation for candidates applying only for study programs). The documentation must be sent no later than June 16th<\/p>\n

– mandatory application for the procedure of additional knowledge, skills and abilities at the Academy of Music by sending:<\/p>\n

a) Application form for the verification procedure\/exam<\/a><\/p>\n

b) confirmation of payment of the costs of the verification procedure in the amount of 40 euro to the IBAN HR50 23400091100159167 (purpose of payment “costs of the verification procedure”) The form and confirmation of payment must be sent to the e-mail address upisi@muza.hr by June 16th – until 12 o’clock (noon \/ midday).<\/p>\n

Candidates who did not register on time in the www.postani-student.hr<\/a> system or send an application to the student service will not be able to access the verification process.<\/p>\n

– A candidate who has completed secondary education outside the Republic of Croatia is obliged to start the process of recognition of foreign educational qualifications led by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.
