CEEPUS

Exchange of students and teachers at the universities of Central and South-Eastern Europe with scholarships that comply with the standard of living in the countries involved in the programme.

The Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies (CEEPUS) supports the mobility of teachers and undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students. The core of the programme is CEEPUS networks (Partnerships of related higher education institutions), comprising at least 3 higher education institutions from at least three CEEPUS participating countries. Students gaining mobility under CEEPUS are exempt from the payment of tuition fees at a foreign higher education institution.

The national CEEPUS office of the receiving country grants a scholarship and the receiving higher education institution provides for the realisation of the professional part of the programme. On average, more than 500 students and teachers from Croatia go to mobility through CEEPUS per year, while more than 450 scholarship holders come to Croatian higher education institutions.

WoCE CEEPUS network

The Winds of Central Europe (WoCE) Network was initiated and co-ordinated by the Woodwind and Brass Department of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music within the CEEPUS programme, together with the wind departments of the academies of music from Zagreb, Ljubljana, Belgrade and Sarajevo. Under this scheme, students and teachers of the department are entitled to carry out various mobility programmes towards the partner institutions of the network.

Available scholarships/mobilities for students/teachers of the Academy of Music in the WoCE network in the summer semester of the academic year 2022/23:

• short term excursion 3-5 days (1 teacher, 3 students) to Sarajevo – dates: May 15^th – 19^th 2023;
• short term excursion 3-5 days (1 teacher, 3 students) to Belgrade – dates: April 17^th – 21^st 2023;
• short term excursion 3-5 days (1 teacher, 3 students) to Budapest – dates: April 17^th – 21^st 2023.

Note: dates of the mobilities are subject to change (in the summer semester).

Important deadlines:

• June 15th – application deadline for the autumn semester of the academic year 2022/23
• October 31st – deadline for applications for the spring semester of the 2022/23 academic year
